PATRIOTS SLAY THE DRAGONS

 

After a 30 minute rain delay, the Valley Patriots came out fast, racing to a 42-0 first quarter lead, on their way to a convincing 54-6 win over the Paducah Dragons. The game ended at half due to the 45-point mercy rule.

  Valley was paced by their dynamic rushing duo of Adrian Espinoza and Dax Allen. They each had around a hundred yards rushing and 3 touchdowns. Adrian also added a 47 yard punt return for a TD. Juan Villarreal added 5 extra point kicks for 10 points. Valley's other points came on a safety by Joe Carrera. Adrian Espinoza led the way on defense too with 8 tackles. Zack Stumbo and Jack Price also had good defensive efforts with 6 tackles each. Dax Allen had 4 tackles and 1 interception.. All in all it was a great effort on both sides of the ball and a convincing win for the Patriots.

  The Patriots will next be in action this Friday at home against the Crowell Wildcats. Game time is set for7:30, so come out and support your Valley Patriots!!
