Who We Are
Welcome from our Superintendent
Welcome to Valley!
As superintendent, it is my honor and privilege to serve such an amazing community that truly feels like family. Valley is built on a rich legacy of excellence evident in the everyday actions of our staff, students, and families. Walk our halls, and you can’t help but feel the history and pride of being a Patriot.
Every student matters at Valley, and each one deserves an education that pulls their best from within and enables them to reach their maximum potential. To that end, virtually every classroom at Valley includes an inclusion teacher or paraprofessional; no one falls through the cracks at Valley.
Beyond the classroom, our students have every opportunity to excel in extracurriculars, with deep playoff runs and state championships a consistent element of our history. Patriots practice and play to win!
Valley is a proud member of Region 16 in the Panhandle of Texas, and while we deeply respect our neighboring districts, there simply is no place like Valley. I encourage you to stay connected with our district through this website, Valley Patriot News on Facebook, and if you’re a parent/student through our regular communications on the ParentSquare app. Your involvement is essential to the success of our school, and we are excited to work together to create an exceptional educational experience for all students.
Thank you for your continued support of Valley. Go Patriots!
GODbless,blessGOD.

The Patriot Covenant
A Commitment to Excellence, Radical Hospitality, and Team over Self
We do not simply attend, work at, or send our children to Valley; we belong to a community. We are bound by a shared legacy—generations of Patriots—that demands our best even when no one is watching. Together as students, staff, and families, we commit to the following pillars:
I. The Foundation: Earn Trust Every Day
- Trust Through Excellence: Trust is not given; it is earned. Students earn it through dedication to education, staff through mastering their craft, and families through active partnership and communication. We "have each other’s backs" by showing up prepared, staying engaged, and giving our best effort every single day.
- Radical Hospitality: We treat every student, teacher, family member, and guest with incredible hospitality, treating others better than they treat us. We intentionally create a space where everyone is seen, welcomed, and valued—not as a duty, but as a hallmark of our collective character.
- Integrity of Action: We lead with a consistent, upright moral character. We are the same people whether we are at home, in the classroom, on the field, in the stands, or out in the community. Our peers, neighbors, and children will never have to guess which version of us they will meet.
- Extreme Ownership: We take total responsibility for our culture, our safety, and our shared environment. We do not make excuses, pass blame, or point fingers. If our community experiences a setback, we look in the mirror first to see how we can be part of the solution.
II. The Mindset: The Learning is Never Finished
- Perpetual Growth: We are all lifelong learners. Whether mastering an academic lesson, a teaching method, a new perspective, or parenting strategy, we embrace ongoing practice and honest introspection. We never settle for "good enough" because our community deserves our continual improvement.
- Modeling the Way: We lead by example. Staff inspire students, parents guide families, and older students coach younger peers, proving together that the desire to grow is a lifelong pursuit.
- Refinement Together: We value the time spent practicing, studying, and growing as a team. We push one another toward greater achievements, supporting our peers and partners by balancing their weaknesses with our strengths so that the entire Patriot family wins.
III. The Mission: Something Bigger Than Ourselves
- Collective Commitment: We recognize that our individual choices impact the entire community. Students, staff, and families work daily for the success of Valley, our communities, and the future of our state.
- Service Above Self: We prioritize the needs of our peers, our school, and our community above personal advantage or convenience.
- Simple, Actionable, Clear: We communicate with honesty and transparency. We do not hide behind excuses or overly complex rules; we live by simple truths and high, enforceable standards that protect and elevate everyone.
- Transcending Achievement: Our ultimate goal is a lasting impact that goes far beyond test scores, grades, trophies, or personal accolades. We aim to lift others up, cultivating a legacy that transcends our individual time at Valley.
