PATRIOTS TAME THE TIGERS

PATRIOTS TAME THE TIGERS

The Valley Patriots came out  fast Friday evening  with 4 first quarter touchdowns, on their way to a 51-6  thrashing of the Mclean Tigers. The game was Valley's annual homecoming game, and the Patriots showed off their potent rushing attack by racking up 267 yards rushing by 5 different ball carriers in just one half of play. Ashton Barclay led the way with 106 yards on 9 carries and 3 touchdowns. Adrian Espinoza had 3 carries for 97 yards and 3 touchdowns. Dax Allen added 2 carries for 38 yards and a touchdown. Zack Stumbo chipped in 3 carries for 14 yards and Jack Price had 1 carry for 12 yards.
The Patriot defense had a strong game also. They came within one broken play that ended up with a fumble being scooped up by a Tiger player and ran in for a TD from pitching a shutout. It was a great total team effort.
The Patriots will again be at home this Friday evening, when they will square off against the Paducah Dragons. We need everyone to show up at 7:30 and cheer our boys on to another big win!! Go Blue!!
